About Arts & Business Council Of Greater Phoenix
- Celebrating 20 Years of Service

For individuals, arts groups and businesses seeking to create a greater arts and cultural community, the Arts & Business Council of Greater Phoenix provides opportunities for leadership development, volunteerism, training and recognition.

We do this is through our Business Volunteers for the Arts volunteer match program; Business on Board governance training program; and Marketing and Management workshops.

About The Junior League of Phoenix

Chartered in 1935, the Junior League of Phoenix is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. A member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc., The Junior League of Phoenix members is open to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism. Our membership of 1,300 plus women is proud to contribute over 100,000 volunteer hours annually and has contributed millions to those in need.

In Phoenix alone, a few of the programs that the Junior League helped establish include the Ronald McDonald House, the Phoenix Children's Hospital, the Arizona Science Center, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and the Crisis Nursery. Notable members of The Junior League of Phoenix include former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor and former Arizona Secretary of State Betsy Bayless.

The Junior League of Phoenix:

  • Educates and trains women volunteers for community involvement and leadership
  • Researches and develops programs to meet the changing needs of the community
  • Participates and contributes to community projects and programs through volunteer services, financial backing, and board representation.
